At the 8th Grade Graduation Ceremony this past Monday evening, the Harrington Park School District was honored to announce Mrs. Holly Ciccoricco as the 2024 Circle of Leadership Award Recipient.

The Circle of Leadership is an award presented each year since 2006 to an individual who demonstrates exemplary leadership qualities in their personal and professional life and has made an impact on their community or the greater world through their actions as a leader. The award provides a daily reminder to Harrington Park's students of the power they each have to impact and shape the world around them through their own actions as leaders.

Holly Ciccoricco was a pioneer in the arts and education whose impact has been large throughout Harrington Park and the surrounding communities. Throughout her life, Holly held numerous roles as an educator, volunteer, and artist, including being an art teacher in Alpine for 18 years and the Art Director of the Northern Valley Summer Camp in Harrington Park for 40 years. Holly helped the state develop statewide standards for art education and worked with special education classes across the Northern Valley over the course of her career.

The award was accepted on behalf of Holly by her husband, Dr. Edward Ciccorico, Harrington Park's 2008 Circle of Leadership Award Recipient. Please join the district in honoring Mrs. Ciccoricco for this well-deserved honor.
