At last night's meeting, The Board of Education was proud to honor the Harrington Park School District's recent retirees, the 2023-2024 Teacher of the Year, and newly tenured staff.
Recent Retirees
Pictured at the top of this page, Ms. Nancy O'Toole was honored for her 14 years of service as a teacher to the district.
Ms. Madeline Burns was honored for over 23 years of service to the district as an instructional aide.
A number of our recent retirees were unable to attend last evening's Board meeting, but were thanked for their service as well:
Ms. Patricia Kellner was honored for her many years in education prior to joining the Harrington Park staff and for her 1.5 years of service to the district as an instructional aide.
Mr. Marcelino Lapid was honored for his 13.5 years of service to the district as the Board of Education Financial Clerk.
Ms. Kathy Leon was honored for her 25 years of service to the district as a Board of Education Confidential Clerk and Main Office Secretary.
Ms. Nancy Malvasi was honored for her 17 years of service to the district as an instructional aide.
Ms. Katie Rausa was honored for her 19 years of service to the district as a teacher.
Ms. Val Piatkowski was honored for her nearly 25 years of service to the district as the Main Office Secretary.
2023-2024 Teacher of the Year
The Board of Education was proud to publicly acknowledge and thank Ms. Sheba Koshy, ESL Teacher, for her ongoing service to the district and congratulate her on being Harrington Park's 2023-2024 Teacher of the Year!
Newly Tenured Staff
Ms. Taylor Saccoccio's recent attainment of tenure in the Harrington Park School District was acknowledged and celebrated.
